Manifesto
Hello!
My name is Josh Abe. I’m a graphic designer and I live in Charlotte. I love books, black and white photos, vinyl records, letterpress typography, wes anderson films, typewriters, and coffee.
I’ve been making art ever since I can remember.
I love to take things apart to see how they work, and I love trying to find a better way to do things and solve problems. I see one of my major strengths being my ability to look at a situation from many different perspectives, find a range of practical and solutions, and achieve the best result in a timely manner. I believe good design is completely invisible and unobtrusive. However, when examined, good design makes you say, “Of course! Why didn’t I think of that?”
This is something I try to put into every one of my projects, so that the end result is something that will surprise and delight everyone who comes in contact with it, like taking apart a mysterious gadget and finding something magical.
